I didn't have this set up to start with and almost crashed the machine
download the free trial and then once it is installed you can choose your license options. for a student you get it for 3 years and as a startup or hobbyist you get it for a year. after the time is up you can renew the license for free. They even offer a subscription price if you are using it as a business.
